WebJan 27, 2016 · Take the shield off the helmet and put it on a towel or something and try to flatten it out a bit while you're doing this. When the helmet shield takes its normal curvature, it will pull the pins in even tighter. Doing it while the helmet shield is curved normally means it will either be too loose or you might strip the cam pins. Good luck! #3
