WebNight and Weekend Duty. R2s at our program complete a total of 6 weeks of night float, which includes 5 nights per week of 14hour home call shifts covering UW or VA hospitals. We also have scattered call shifts throughout the year on Friday nights, and Sat/Sun days or nights -- these occur about twice a month. WebOur Providers. Our Board-Certified Gastroenterologists are thoroughly trained and highly skilled. The physicians at Washington Gastroenterology have each completed four years of medical school followed by three years of an Internal Medicine residency. They have also completed at least two to three years of specialty training via fellowship.
